3:21. அதற்கு ஒப்பனையான ஞானஸ்நானமானது, மாம்ச அழுக்கை நீக்குதலாயிராமல், தேவனைப்பற்றும் நல்மனச்சாட்சியின் உடன்படிக்கையாயிருந்து, இப்பொழுது நம்மையும் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய உயிர்த்தெழுதலினால் இரட்சிக்கிறது;

3:21. இன்று நீங்கள் இரட்சிக்கப்படுகின்ற ஞானஸ்நானத்திற்கு அந்தத் தண்ணீர் ஒப்பானது. ஞானஸ்நானம் சரீரத்திலிருந்து அழுக்கை விலக்குவதில்லை. ஆனால் தேவனிடம் தூய உள்ளத்தை வேண்டுவதே ஞானஸ்நானம். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மரணத்தினின்று எழுப்பப்பட்டதால் இவை அனைத்தும் நடக்கின்றன.

3:21. And this prefigured baptism, which now saves you— not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience to God— through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

3:21. And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

3:21. which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
